We default to OpenAI (GPT-4o) for most SaaS applications — it's well-supported, reliable, and has the broadest ecosystem of tooling. If there's a reason to use Anthropic's Claude (stronger reasoning, longer context) or another provider, we'll recommend it during scoping. The app is designed so the provider can be swapped without a full rewrite if your needs change.
We build usage controls into the app from the start: per-user monthly credit limits, a usage dashboard in the admin panel, spend alerting when thresholds are reached, and the ability to throttle or disable AI features per-tenant. You set the limits; the system enforces them automatically.
